The "358" designation refers to the dimensions of the mesh: 3 inches in length, 0.5 inches in width, and a wire diameter of Gauge 8 (though Gauge 10 is becoming more common in the African market).

The small mesh size makes it impossible for individuals to cut or climb the fence, ensuring high security. The fence is coated with PVC and HDG for durability, with common colors being green and black.
